Jacob wants a puppy, but his dad says it's only possible if he can prove he's responsible enough. Jacob comes up with a plan, gets a job, and adopts a puppy named Soufflé. However, he soon forgets his promises and Soufflé has an accident in the house. Jacob takes responsibility for his mistake, apologizes, and makes it right. He learns that having a puppy is a lot of work, but it's worth it.
